Becky Scheffel lost her brother to cancer a few weeks ago. Her other brother broke his hip the day before the funeral is currently on a respirator and in serious condition. Please keep Becky and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

my thoughts and prayers are with this woman and her family i pray that god will keep his loving arms around the family and give them strength,courage,hopeand faith each and everyday.

I spoke to Becky last night and wanted to update everyone on her brothers condition. He is still in critical condition and she is afraid she might lose him also. Randy is the only sibling left since she lost Bob a few weeks ago. He is in hospital in Michigan and they are considering moving him to Ft. Wayne to be closer to the family. I passed on everyones concern for him and the family. If I hear more I will let you know

Thank you Karen for updates. she probably doesn't even have time to read the post. What trauma this is for her, my thoughts and prayers and most of all give her strength to carry on. Becky if you read this, know that our fan club sends you hope and we're with you in thoughts.

Randy is doing some better but it is one step forward and two back so he has a very long way to go. Becky has a memorial page for her brother Bob--- if anyone is interested in signing the guest book there . www.epresley.net/bob.htm

I would like to say a big thank you to those of you who has replied to this thread. The loss of my brother was really hard for me and then to top it off my other brother fell and broke his hip. What should have been something pretty simple to recover from turned out to be a nightmare. I am so afraid of losing him too, which would be devastating for me and my mom. My brother is still in the Critical Care unit at the hospital. They just put a feeding tube in him today and tomorrow they are planning on putting a trachea his throat. He is still very much dependent on life support so as you can guess he still has a long road ahead of him. I feel like everything that has happened to me and my family this past months has been a bad dream and I'm still waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me I just had a bad dream. Thanks again for all the support you all have shown. It means a lot to me to have you all as my Elvis Family.

I spoke to Becky and she gave me an update on her brother. He is showing some improvement but is still in intensive care . He has a very long way to go but they are seeing slow improvements each day. Let's all hope and pray he continues to improve. Sending our best wishes to the whole family.

A quick update on Becky's brother Randy. He is still on life support -but is making some progress and has a very long way to go. They have found a blood clot in his arm and are treating that now. One step forward and two steps back seems to be the best way to describe him right now.
Becky sounded very relieved that he has come so far and I know we all hope for a speedy recovery. She plans to be at the festival so we can all look forward to seeing her then .

One more update and this is a wonderful one ---Randy is off life support and Becky says making good progress . All of our prayers were answered . Finally she can look to a brighter day .
